It’s that time of the year again when we place special emphasis on the abilities as well as the current needs and concerns of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community and across the world!
People with I/DD have made great strides in housing, employment and inclusion over the past few decades, but we continue to keep working and address issues which our daily lives. Recognizing the achievements of people in our community goes a long way in educating the general population to the abilities and concerns of the I/DD population. The Arc of Calhoun and Cleburne Counties would love to know more about your accomplishments as well as the needs you feel people with I/DD face in our local area.
