How You Can Help
We at the The Arc of Calhoun and Cleburne Counties want to find new ways to help our families, while increasing awareness and helping to create new opportunities.
Our Chapter is always in need of volunteers to help in a multitude of areas from special events, serving on the Board of Directors, joining our advocacy groups, becoming an Kids on the Block puppeteer, annual giving, to just lending a helping hand.
Our Chapter differs in their services and interests, offering a diverse array of activities and opportunities for becoming involved with the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.
The Arc is involved in several projects it sponsors or co-sponsors with area civic, business, city and religious organizations including The Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Drive, The Kids Invitational Fishing Classic and The Arc/Anniston PARD Adult Day Camps. We also benefit from our involvement in the Sunny King Charity Golf Classic and the Anniston Runner's Club's Woodstock 5K Run. To find out how to become involved in these or other projects of The Arc, visit the volunteer page.
